The next thing eBay looks for in order to reward you with the Power Seller status is sales. You need to maintain at least $1000 a month for three months to be eligible for the program. If you meet these requirements then eBay will send an invitation into the program. If you accept you are then an official Power seller. This status alone is not the secret to making you extremely rich, but it does show your customers you worked hard to be a positive member of the eBay community.
As a Power Seller it is important to be courteous to your customers. The Power Seller badge next to your listings brings high expectations from your customers. They expect to get their items quickly and with great communication. The Power Seller badge is an honour and should be treated that way. With a Power Sellers logo next to your name customers expect to be working with a professional seller. If you want to maintain your Power Seller status then you need to treat your customers with respect and resolve any problems that come along quickly and professionally.
Encourage positive feedback. It's a fact even if your item is priced higher then other sellers, buyers will pay a little more if it is being sold by a Power Seller that they can trust. The customer is willing to trust that they are going to get their items quickly and that they can communicate with you if anything goes wrong. This is where feedback works for you. If you maintained a high level of feedback buyers are going to trust you more then a seller with lower feedback scores. Even if the other seller has a better price people will still buy from you. You will slowly see how feedback gains trust and starts to turn into more sales and bigger sales. Your buyers are going to be wiling to spend more and by bigger ticket items because they trust you. With great feedback you will also see repeat business of satisfied buyers. This all will lead to more profit for your business.
