With an automated message your customer knows you got their messages and will respond as soon as you can. If you need help getting email answered get help it is worth every penny. You might miss out on sales if you can not respond quickly enough and you can also end up with negative feed back.

Ship Promptly:

When people buy an item on eBay from a stranger they might panic if they do not get their item in reasonable timeframe. It is important to provide tracking numbers and get items out as soon as possible. If you run into a problem let the customer know. It's better to be honest and have positive communication with your customers. You want to avoid customers filing Paypal claims or claims with eBay. Get item out on time with tracking is the best thing you can do to run a smooth eBay business.
